We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Project Worker to join our team at Sanctuary Supported Living. As a Project Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals who have experienced homelessness to achieve their full potential and independence.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personalized support to customers, empowering them to make informed decisions and take control of their lives.
- Assess customer needs and develop tailored support plans to address their unique challenges and goals.
- Act as a first point of contact for customers, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and empathetic manner.
- Build strong relationships with customers, respecting their autonomy and dignity while promoting their well-being and confidence.
- Liaise with external agencies and support networks to enhance customers' access to education, employment, and healthcare opportunities.
- Manage crisis situations with poise and professionalism, ensuring the safety and well-being of customers and staff.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of customer interactions and progress.
- Experience working with adults who have experienced homelessness, with a strong understanding of the complexities and challenges involved.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with customers from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, while also working independently to achieve goals and objectives.
- NVQ3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
