Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Agri Anaerobic Digestion (AD) Operator to join our team at our Fairfields site in Colchester. As an AD Operator, you will play a critical role in the safe operation of our site, including loading and sorting of feedstocks via Telehandler, data collection, analysis and reporting, general site housekeeping, Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) System, and assisting with planned downtime of key equipment for planned, safe and cost-effective overhaul.


Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Telehandler to load and sort feedstocks
  • Collect and analyze data to ensure site efficiency and safety
  • Perform general site housekeeping and maintenance tasks
  • Assist with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) System
  • Support site manager with planned downtime of key equipment

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in mechanical engineering, process engineering, or a related field. You will also need to have experience operating a Telehandler, working in confined spaces, and working at heights. Additionally, you will need to have a qualification or experience in first aid and be able to work unsupervised for periods of time.


What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of up to £34k dependent on experience, plus overtime. You will also receive 23 days leave (equivalent to 6.6 weeks holiday), 4% employer pension, and x4 life assurance.
