Technical Sales Manager Job Description

Vibe Recruit is seeking a skilled Technical Sales Manager to join our team in Oxfordshire. As a Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing sales pipelines, maintaining customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sales Pipeline Development: Build and manage sales pipelines to grow sales and revenue.
  2. Customer Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with customers to drive referrals and repeat business.
  3. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach and lead generation.
  4. Market Analysis: Provide insights on the competitive landscape to inform sales strategies.
  5. Contract Manufacturing and Industrial Systems: Respond to enquiries and provide technical expertise to customers.
  6. Sales Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts based on sales pipeline management.
  7. CRM System Management: Update and maintain the company's CRM system to track opportunities and manage follow-up.
  8. Marketing Support: Assist with marketing activities, including attending conferences and trade events.
Requirements:
  1. Capital Approval Experience: Proven ability to navigate capital approval procedures.
  2. Technical Sales Experience: 5 years of sales experience in technical products and services to industry.
  3. Customer Types and Industries: Wide experience of customer types and industries, particularly target markets such as the Semiconductor industry, microfiltration, laser welding of dissimilar materials, bio/medical and electronic devices, optical apertures / X-ray imaging.
