About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Orthopaedic Theatre Practitioner to join our Theatre team at Ramsay Health Care UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and supporting our team in delivering high-quality clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide surgical scrub support in orthopaedic theatres, including hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligament repairs
  • Work effectively in a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive and supportive team culture
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to maintain and enhance clinical skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practice guidelines and protocols in the Theatre department

Requirements

  • NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions
  • Surgical scrub experience within orthopaedics, including hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligament repairs
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) desirable but not essential
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
  • Flexible and positive attitude
  • A warm, considerate, and empathetic character
