About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead our £250m New Build Residential Development in Leeds. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the project from conception to completion, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and effective resource allocation.
  2. Chair regular meetings with the project team, stakeholders, and clients to ensure clear communication and collaboration.
  3. Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues, ensuring the project's success.
  4. Monitor progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  5. Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions.
  6. Lead and motivate the project team, fostering a collaborative and positive working environment.
  7. Ensure all parties involved in the project adhere to contract terms and conditions, construction laws, and regulations.
  8. Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring the project's successful delivery.
Requirements
  1. Proven industry expertise with a track record of successfully managing projects in excess of £50m.
  2. Extensive background within the industry, with at least 5 years of experience working in a Project Director or similar position.
  3. Experience working on projects within residential/commercial sectors is advantageous.
