Flexographic Plate Maker

Location: York

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Flexographic Plate Maker to join our team at Kairos Recruitment. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for loading plates onto the machine, operating the exposure, washout, and drying unit of the plate-making process, and ensuring quality control checks are performed and logged on the system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading plates onto the machine and operating the exposure, washout, and drying unit of the plate-making process
• Ensuring quality control checks are performed and logged on the system
• Operating equipment and computers as required to be used in the platemaking process
• Transporting plates to areas within the site

Requirements:

• Preferably from a Flexographic Plate making / plate mounting background
• Experience of using an Esko system
• Ability to work under pressure and work to tight deadlines
• Quality and attention to detail with all areas of work
