Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lifting Engineer to join our engineering team. As a Lifting Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out all repairs and inspections, as well as LOLER/PUWER examinations, on a range of lifting gear including shackles, winches, hoists, and gantries, within a workshop environment.

You will also be required to attend customer sites, where you will be provided with a company van. Your primary responsibility will be to provide technical support to customers as their point of contact.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in lifting equipment and a good understanding of LOLER/PUWER regulations. You will be a team player, with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out repairs and inspections on lifting gear
  • Conduct LOLER/PUWER examinations
  • Provide technical support to customers
  • Attend customer sites
  • Work collaboratively with the engineering team
