Job Summary

Oceaneering is a leading provider of engineered services and products to the offshore energy industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Survey Data Analyst to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and analyze data for job preparation, field support, office quality control, final reporting quality control, final deliverable quality control, and project close-out activities.
  • Remotely connect to our facilities in the UK, Angola, USA, and Brazil to support operations.
  • Interface with offshore staff, GIS, and Project Management teams to support survey efforts and deliverables.
  • Provide data management, quality control, and analysis support for ROV pipeline and construction surveys.
  • Develop and maintain project priorities, manage time effectively, and organize information to meet operational needs and desired outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field or comparable work experience.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in offshore and/or onshore surveying, preferably in the offshore activities detailed above.
  • Practical experience of data management, data analysis, mapping, and data standards, and associated software.
  • Understanding of offshore construction activities.
  • Adequate Microsoft 365 skills, specifically Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, and OneNote.
  • Beginning AutoCAD and other required software knowledge.
  • Understanding of DGPS, geodetics, USBL, and surface/subsea survey sensors.
Preferred Qualifications
  • LBL and Metrology data processing and understanding.
  • Photogrammetric knowledge, specifically using Agisoft Metashape.
  • Strong technical writing abilities.
