About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Phoenix Learning and Care Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our children, enabling them to thrive and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children with their daily needs, including personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, promoting their emotional and social well-being.
- Collaborate with the care team to create and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our children.
- Participate in activities and outings that promote the children's physical and emotional development.
- Contribute to a safe and healthy environment, adhering to our policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with children who may have experienced trauma.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, colleagues, and external partners.
- A driving license and willingness to drive our children to appointments and activities.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including sleep-ins, and be available for on-call duties.
- A commitment to ongoing learning and development, with a willingness to pursue relevant qualifications and training.
