Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Project Worker to join our team at Sanctuary Group. As a Project Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals who have experienced homelessness to achieve their goals and live independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized support to customers, empowering them to maximize their potential and independence.
  • Assess customer needs and develop tailored support plans to address their unique challenges.
  • Act as a first point of contact for customer inquiries, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, respecting their autonomy, dignity, and personal choices.
  • Liaise with external partners to enhance customer confidence, health, and well-being, and provide opportunities for education and employment.
  • Respond to emergency situations with professionalism and poise.
  • Maintain accurate and high-quality records of customer interactions.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with adults who have faced homelessness.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a flexible and adaptable attitude.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently, with a strong sense of initiative.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with functional literacy and numeracy.
  • Capacity to prioritize tasks, manage competing demands, and meet deadlines.
  • NVQ3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards this qualification.
