Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in the Yate area. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with cerebral palsy and complex needs to develop their skills and independence.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing personal care and support to our service users, promoting their independence and well-being. You will work closely with our team to create a safe and welcoming environment, and support individuals to develop new skills and interests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to service users, including assistance with daily living tasks
  • Support individuals to develop their skills and independence, including promoting their physical and emotional well-being
  • Work closely with our team to create a safe and welcoming environment, and support individuals to develop new skills and interests
  • Deal with challenging behaviors in a safe and sympathetic manner
  • Provide support for individuals to maintain their safety and well-being
Requirements
  • Experience working as an Adult Support Worker in a similar setting is desirable
  • NVQ or QCF level 3 in Adult Social Care is desirable (or willing to work towards)
  • A passion for supporting people living their lives
  • You MUST be a driver as you may be required to travel between sites during shift
  • You must be over the age of 18
