The Opportunity

The Finance Manager - Private Equity will report directly to the Divisional Director and will be responsible for:

  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for Fund Managers, including commentary and decision support
  • Managing a small team of fund accountants to deliver high-quality client service
  • Producing quarterly management packs for Fund Managers, including commentary
  • Preparing statutory accounts for Trusts, Small Limited Companies, and LLPs, ensuring all disclosures are correct
  • Preparing and submitting indirect tax returns
  • Calculating fund drawdown, equalisation, and distributions, and partnering with investors on all matters
  • Partnering with clients to drive improvements and challenging stakeholders as necessary
Background and Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

  • An accountancy qualification (ICAS, ACCA, ICAEW, etc.)
  • At least 2 years of post-qualified experience
  • Experience of using accounting software (Sage, Xero, Quickbooks, etc.)
  • Experience of private equity funds and/or fund accounting
  • A university degree with a minimum of a 2:1 at honours
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

The Finance Manager - Private Equity role offers a competitive package, including:

  • A salary of £55,000 to £65,000 per annum, depending on experience
