Job Title: ICT Services Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled ICT Services Engineer to join our team at JLB Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing electrical and controls technical support to our clients across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out electrical installation work to BS7671 or its equivalent.
  • Install, service, and repair low voltage electrical control systems.
  • Install and commission instrumentation and control systems, including flow, solids, pH, pressure, levels, and actuated knife gate valves.
  • Install and commission instrumentation and control systems sensors.
  • Perform mechanical assembly and modification of pipework assemblies where minor blockages have occurred, modifications are required, or replacement of leaking pipe sections.
  • Conduct routine maintenance calls with probe cleaning.
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance and calibration of instruments on our product range.
  • Report to assigned project managers and take ownership of lower-valued contracts.
  • Lead working parties and be responsible for lesser-skilled employees, demonstrating sound knowledge of Health & Safety issues and leadership skills.
Requirements:
  • ECS/CSCS card.
  • Full driving license.
  • Electrical qualifications.
Desirable Skills:
  • Ability to organise and manage time effectively.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good PC literacy.
  • Ability to work well with other teams within the company.
  • Water industry experience preferred but not essential.
