About the Role

BrainStation is a global leader in digital skills training and workforce transformation. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Developer to join our team as a Senior Web Development Instructor. As a key member of our instructional team, you will be responsible for teaching our 12-week Web Development Diploma program to students from around the world.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver engaging lectures and workshops on web development topics, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other instructors and subject matter experts to create a cohesive and effective learning experience.
  • Provide individualized feedback and support to students to ensure their success in the program.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and incorporate new technologies and techniques into the curriculum.
  • Contribute to the development of new educational materials and resources.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and subject matter expertise.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in a web engineering role, with a strong background in web development technologies.
  • Deep expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React, with experience in Node/Express and databases.
  • Experience leading technical teams and mentoring junior developers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • A strong passion for teaching and mentoring, with a commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
