Project Support Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Project Support Engineer. As a key member of our project management team, you will provide administrative support to project managers and contribute to the successful delivery of complex automation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process bills of materials for procurement, considering current stock levels and project timing plans.
  • Update resource planners and highlight conflicts to project managers.
  • Liaise with subcontract labor suppliers to confirm availability for upcoming resource requirements.
  • Take meeting minutes and follow-up actions.
  • Monitor project invoicing milestones and issue summary reports to project managers.
  • Support installations with procurement requirements and updates.
  • Prepare RAMS for site installations.
  • Track and compile project final documentation packages for delivery.
  • Process change requests for ongoing projects through design, procurement, and kitting.

Requirements:

  • Administration experience.
  • Desirable: electrical experience or qualification, project management exposure.
  • Technical competencies: MS Office (advanced level), Microsoft Project (intermediate), Eplan (preferred).

About You:

  • Interest in project management career development.
  • Results-oriented and able to analyze.
  • Initiative and good communication skills.
  • Team player with organizational skills.
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Please note that this role may require some weekend working and occasional working away from home, estimated 80% based in Bedford and 20% on site. We offer a range of benefits, including full training, 29 days holiday, future progression, pension, and free parking.
