Treasury Assistant

Job Title: Treasury Assistant
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Treasury Assistant to join our team at Venn Group. As a key member of our financial team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our treasury operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review daily bank balance reports to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Process and reconcile bank statements across multiple accounts and currencies
- Manage manual payments and BACS payment runs, ensuring timely and accurate processing
- Process and post journals, maintaining accurate financial records
- Raise sales invoices and perform credit control duties, ensuring prompt payment from customers
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies
- Support the financial accounting team with specific tasks, providing administrative assistance as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Treasury or Accounts Receivable, with a strong understanding of financial processes and procedures
- Proficiency in Excel, with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
