Key Responsibilities of the Automation Systems Engineer:

  • Design and execute a variety of systems aimed at enhancing operational efficiency for sectors such as Life Sciences, Chemical Production, and Energy Management. This includes the development of control systems, safety protocols, plant management information systems, manufacturing execution systems, traceability systems, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) systems.
  • Offer technical guidance and consultancy to both internal teams and external clients, ensuring that projects are completed successfully, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Oversee the successful delivery of projects utilizing a range of software and hardware from various manufacturers across multiple industry sectors.

Key Requirements for the Automation Systems Engineer:

  • Proven experience with mainstream PLC/SCADA systems, including but not limited to Siemens S7/300, S7/400, Siemens PCS7, WinCC, Allen Bradley Control Logix, Allen Bradley SLC, Rockwell, Factory Talk View (all versions), Emerson Delta V, and Copa Data Zenon.
  • Experience in regulated environments such as Life Sciences, Chemical Production, or Energy Management is highly advantageous.
  • Willingness and capability to adapt to new software technologies.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Desire to collaborate with and mentor junior engineers.
