We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team.

Whelan's pubs are known for their vibrant atmosphere, ranging from authentic Irish establishments in lively town centers to upscale suburban venues focusing on exquisite cuisine. Each of our spacious pubs is uniquely designed, featuring a captivating mix of decor and furnishings.

Our venues provide comfortable seating, outdoor spaces, and stages ideal for hosting various events. We take pride in our live music and sports offerings, with large screens displaying a variety of sporting events including racing, golf, boxing, rugby, and football.

Our reputation for live music spans traditional Irish tunes and engaging activities such as quiz nights, karaoke, and late-night DJ performances.

At the heart of our mission is the delivery of an exceptional pub experience, offering a wide selection of beers, ales, wines, and spirits, paired with traditional Irish and bistro-style dishes.

While previous experience is advantageous, we prioritize the following qualities in candidates:

  • Interpersonal Skills: A friendly demeanor towards patrons and effective communication within the team.
  • Willingness to Learn: An eagerness to gain knowledge about beverages, food, wines, spirits, service etiquette, and cellar management.

  • Food Service Skills: While training is available, familiarity with table service is beneficial, particularly regarding gratuity practices.
