Position Summary: The Building Services Manager will effectively oversee and lead the execution of Mechanical, Electrical, and public health services installations for educational and commercial projects, with project values ranging from £20m to £40m.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee each phase of the project delivery process, ensuring that all tasks are fully coordinated and executed in line with the contract schedule.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and self-motivation while working collaboratively within a team, showcasing methodical approaches and strong communication skills.
- Facilitate regular progress review meetings and prepare stage reports for consistent weekly and monthly updates within the organization.
- Manage personal time effectively in relation to daily responsibilities, emphasizing the importance of timely project delivery.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in delivering M&E packages for new educational institutions and commercial buildings.
- Extensive industry experience in design management of active projects and pre-construction activities.
- A strong team player with the ability to liaise comfortably with various management and client teams.
- Proficient IT skills.
- A comprehensive understanding of Quality, Safety, Environmental, and Legislative systems and procedures.
- Ability to appreciate phasing and construction scheduling.
- Capability to identify risks and opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
