Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at the Northern Ireland Housing Executive. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing multi-planned maintenance projects, including managing in-house construction professionals, appointing and managing external professional consultants, and administering JCT contracts and NEC3 Short Contract for planned maintenance contracts.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage in-house construction professionals, including Clerk of Works and Mechanical & Electrical Inspectors
- Appoint and manage external professional consultants
- Administer JCT contracts and NEC3 Short Contract for planned maintenance contracts
- Performance manage construction works, monitoring KPI and applying Low Performance Damages as required under the contract
- Chair various meetings at various stages of the contract
- Apply and monitor performance management of contractors and consultants
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Building / Construction / Technical Discipline plus 2 years' relevant experience, or
- Relevant BTEC Higher Cert/Diploma or qualification of an equivalent academic level plus 3 years' relevant experience in Building / Construction / Technical Discipline
This position offers an immediate start with the opportunity to work with Northern Ireland's largest social landlord. You will be paid via Hays on a weekly basis.
