Job Title: Secondary Teaching Assistant - SEMH

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Secondary Teaching Assistant to support students with SEMH needs in a secondary educational setting.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to develop and implement effective learning strategies and materials, providing tailored assistance to students with SEMH needs. The role involves supporting students in their learning journey, monitoring progress, and providing feedback to teachers and parents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with SEMH needs in their learning activities, providing individualized assistance and guidance.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective learning strategies and materials.
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with SEMH students in a secondary educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to the varying needs of students.
  • Relevant qualifications and training in education or language support.
