Job Title: Senior Drug and Alcohol Recovery Nurse

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Drug and Alcohol Recovery Nurse to join our team in Mid and East Ross and Highland. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with colleagues in Community Mental Health Teams and provide high-quality care to individuals with substance misuse issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver safe and effective care to a diverse client population, including interventions and harm reduction advice
  • Supervise and support junior staff within the team
  • Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to achieve shared goals
Requirements:
  • Registered with the NMC as a non-medical prescriber or willingness to undertake training
  • Minimum 3 years post-registration experience and 1 year in the field of Drug and Alcohol
  • Experience in a community setting preferred
  • Full current driving license and use of car for work purposes
