About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IFA Administrator to join our team at mbf., a leading national financial planning and investment management organisation. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical support to our Senior Financial Planners, working closely with them and other internal teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our Financial Planners and their clients, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Work closely with Paraplanning and other internal teams to facilitate efficient and quality administration, resulting in excellent client outcomes.
  • Ensure client reviews are timely and appropriate, in line with documented service levels and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with structured scheduling of reviews and preparation for meetings, ensuring all necessary information and paperwork are in place.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files, ensuring all relevant data is recorded and accessible.
  • Process Letters of Authority and submit business to various platforms and providers, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Maintain a basic level of industry knowledge through private reading and attending workshops, staying up-to-date with industry developments.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years administrative experience, with at least 1 year in an IFA environment.
  • Responsibility, accountability, and the ability to be proactive and intuitive in role.
  • Attention to detail and pride in work.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
