Role: Early Years Practitioner
Location: Clovenstone Primary School Nursery

Compensation: £26,000 - £30,000 (pro-rata for sessional)
Working Hours: 36 hours per week, 39 weeks sessional

Clovenstone Primary School is seeking a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to enhance our nursery team, engaging with a vibrant group of up to 60 children aged 3 to 5 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and learning of young children in a nurturing environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create engaging educational activities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements:

The successful applicant must be registered with the SSSC. This position involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act. The preferred candidate will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If an individual has lived outside the UK for a continuous period of 3 months or more in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be necessary. Providing this check is a requirement for employment. An unconditional offer of employment will depend on the satisfactory outcome of these pre-employment checks.
