Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our growing team at Latitude Recruitment. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate the movement of goods from cartons to containers
  • Make fast-paced decisions and changes to schedules/bookings when challenges arise
  • Adapt and flex to the needs of the department
  • Liaise with clients, forwarders, hauliers, agents, retailers, and internal departments to ensure deliveries are planned and received as quickly as possible
  • Ensure all communications are dealt with in a professional and timely manner
  • Escalate any issues raised with the appropriate departments

Requirements:

  • No experience required, but a background in Logistics or Customer Service is preferred
  • Experience working in Customer Service or Client Facing
  • IT Literate (use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams)
  • Willingness to Learn and Progress within the Business
