Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Early Years Room Leader to join our team at Veritas Education Recruitment. As the Room Leader with 3rd in Charge responsibility, you will play a key role in the daily operations of our nursery, overseeing the management of the room and supporting the development and training of our practitioners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Room Management: Take charge of the day-to-day running of the room, ensuring a high standard of care and education for all children.
  • Staff Leadership: Manage and supervise the practitioners within your room, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
  • Training and Development: Lead staff supervisions and identify training needs to enhance team performance and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Nursery Oversight: Assume responsibility for the overall nursery environment and operations when managers and deputy managers are not present.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the nursery team to ensure a cohesive and supportive working environment.
