We are seeking an upbeat and self-motivated Postperson with Driving to join our team at Royal Mail. As a Delivery Postie with Driving, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to our customers across Guildford and surrounding areas.
About the Role
This is a permanent contract position, working 40 hours per week, 5 days a week, with the flexibility to work between 08:00 and 20:00. You will be required to work 3 out of 7 Sundays due to operational demand.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary, paid monthly, with an hourly rate of £12.54. You will also receive overtime pay at 1.25 times the normal hourly rate. In addition, you will have access to 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service, and a company pension scheme with competitive contribution rates.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong sense of community and take pride in what you do. You will also need to have a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points. We are looking for someone who is happy walking for long periods and working outside in any weather.
