C++ Software Developer Opportunity

Venture Up is seeking a highly skilled C++ software developer to join our team in London. As a C++ software engineer, you will be working closely with our quantitative researchers and other talented engineers to build and support systematic trading models.

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in C++ programming and project management/leadership experience. You will be responsible for maintaining and extending a large-scale distributed system written primarily in modern C++23, Boost.Asio, and Python 3.12.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-performance C++ software components
  • Collaborate with the research team to implement trading models and strategies
  • Contribute to the architecture and design of our trading system
  • Work closely with other engineers to ensure seamless integration and deployment

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of C++ experience in a commercial environment
  • Strong familiarity with modern C++ style and standards (C++14 or greater)
  • Project management/leadership experience
  • Proven track record in managing software projects, including planning, execution, and delivery
