Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Guiseley Manor Care Centre. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality food services to our residents, ensuring their dietary needs are met, and contributing to their overall positive experience of living in our care home.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement menus that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of our residents, ensuring nutritional balance and presentation.
  • Lead and manage the kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless meal service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan and execute special events and functions, showcasing our culinary expertise.
  • Contribute to the development of our menu planning and food purchasing strategies, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in menu planning, kitchen management, and team leadership.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on presentation, flavor, and nutritional balance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and external partners.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
