Job Title: Geo-Environmental Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Geo-Environmental Engineer to join our Geoscience team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for participating in various geo-environmental projects, assisting with ground investigations and desk studies, and providing geotechnical reporting requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct geo-environmental projects for external clients and internal teams
  • Assist with ground investigations and desk studies, including soil logging and laboratory scheduling
  • Prepare factual site investigation data and reports
  • Travel to other offices and sites within the UK as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
  • BSc or equivalent in Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • MSc desirable but not essential
  • Working towards membership of a relevant professional body with a goal to move towards chartership
  • Basic knowledge of planning legislation
  • Experience of site inspections and reporting, preferably on residential developments
  • Able to complete factual and interpretative assessments to a basic level
  • Able to deliver projects and work within a multi-disciplinary consultancy
  • Track record in managing time and resources effectively and within budget
