Job Summary:

LTF Recruitment Ltd is seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant. This is a long-term opportunity to work in a fantastic partnered secondary school, providing key support to students in mainstream and one-to-one capacities up to Key stage 4.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing learning materials and running classroom activities.
  • Take responsibility for the emotional and physical needs of students, supporting them to develop as individuals and engage with the world.
  • Work under the direction of the class teacher to ensure each child has maximum access to all learning activities.

Requirements:

  • Be adaptable and ready to work in a variety of classroom roles, both indoors and outside according to individual need.
  • Have a responsive and caring approach.
  • Add value to a team built on great teamwork and mutual support.
  • Be a driven, ambitious individual who will take part in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to further develop themselves as an education professional.
