Role Overview:

As a Manufacturing Technician II, you will play a vital role in the production of Cell Culture Media tailored for the biotechnology sector. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Adhering to established protocols and guidelines to ensure quality and consistency in production.
  • Operating both semi-automated and fully automated machinery efficiently.
  • Independently executing scheduled tasks while prioritizing critical activities.
  • Utilizing basic computer skills to assist in various operational tasks.
  • Meeting the performance standards set forth by the manufacturing process.
  • Following training and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while seeking guidance when necessary.
  • Exhibiting effective time management skills to enhance productivity.
  • Contributing to cost-saving initiatives by minimizing errors and optimizing capacity.
  • Aligning with departmental goals and metrics to drive success.
  • Taking ownership of your responsibilities and being accountable for your actions.
  • Utilizing IT equipment and packaging machinery in daily operations.
  • Being open to performing additional related tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A minimum of Grade 3 or better in Standard Grade Mathematics, English, and at least one Science subject.
  • Relevant experience in manufacturing may be considered as an equivalent qualification.
  • No travel is required for this position.
