About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Consultant to join our team at Premier Group Recruitment. As a seasoned professional in the field, you will be responsible for delivering tailored security solutions to our clients, drawing on your extensive experience in the MSP/MSSP landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and lead remediation of security assessments, technical testing, and vulnerability analysis (Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus, NIST CSF).
  • Deliver and support security projects from inception to completion.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to clients throughout the security lifecycle.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership in both team management and project delivery.
  • Leverage technical expertise in security technologies (Microsoft XDR stack, vulnerability management tools, SIEMs including Sentinel).
  • Contribute to incident response and drive operational improvements.
Your Profile
  • Proven track record as a Cyber Security Consultant or vCISO within an MSP/MSSP environment.
  • Strong client-facing skills, including delivering workshops and reporting sessions.
  • Background in Security Operations, Network Engineering, Software Development, or Infrastructure Support.
  • Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISA, CYSA+, Security+, CISM, CEH, Microsoft Security).
  • Hands-on experience with security assessments, testing, and remediation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of security technologies and their application.
  • Experience in incident response and security operations.
