Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient School Administrator to join our team at a fantastic Special Needs primary school in Preston. As a School Administrator, you will provide administrative support to the school office team and report directly to the full-time Business Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the school office team
  • Answer telephone calls and respond to emails
  • Input pupil attendance data using SIMS
  • Greet and sign in visitors
  • Liaise with parents and other stakeholders
  • Perform other clerical duties as required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a school office environment is desirable
  • Experience with using school data input software such as SIMS would be beneficial

About the School:

The school is a welcoming and dynamic environment that values its office team. As a School Administrator, you will be part of a supportive team that is committed to fostering a positive and friendly environment for all visitors.

Working Hours:

The role is part-time, 3 days per week, with a requirement to work on Fridays and two other days to be agreed. The working hours are 8.30-3pm, term time only.

Salary:

The salary for this role is £13-£16 per hour, dependent upon experience.
