We are seeking a skilled Mobile Fabric Engineer to join our team at CBW Staffing Solutions. As a Mobile Fabric Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive commercial maintenance across a retail contract based in SE postcodes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver excellent customer service and ensure the client receives the highest level of service to their assets.
  • Carry out basic "Fabric duties" including touching up paint work, tightening hinges, installing/repairing blinds, changing locks, making minor repairs to cabinets, desks, and assembling small equipment.
  • Undertake some plumbing activities including clearing blockages, attending to burst pipes, replacing components, and servicing systems.
  • Paint and decorate as required.
  • Assist with office moves, including furniture movers.
  • Liaise with the contract management team and investigate complaints, taking appropriate action.
  • Ensure feedback is provided to the helpdesk on the progress of M&E jobs.
  • Carry out specialist technical and non-technical work as deemed appropriate to the continuing maintenance function on the client portfolio.
  • Offer technical support and backup as required.
  • Ensure all personnel and contractors working in hazardous areas take necessary safety measures to prevent danger, avoid injury, and prevent damage to equipment.
  • Use relevant tools and equipment within safety guidelines as necessary for the completion of works.
Hours of Work & Package Information:
  • Basic Salary of up to £32,000.
  • 1 in 10 Call Out Rota - £105 per week standby allowance.
  • Monday – Friday 08:00am – 17:00pm.
  • 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays.
  • Company Van & Fuel Card.
  • Tablet & Work Phone Provided.
  • Full company uniform.
Requirements:
  • Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates.
  • A proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
  • Multi-skilled.
  • Good communication skills.
