Job Title: SEN Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Support Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As a SEN Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities in a SEND provision in Rainham, Essex.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individualized support to students with a range of special needs, including ASD, SEMH, and complex learning disabilities. You will work closely with the teaching staff to develop and implement personalized education plans, ensuring that students have access to the learning activities and resources they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise students during lessons and activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Assist students in understanding lesson content and completing tasks, using a range of teaching aids and strategies.
  • Support the execution of education plans, adapting to the individual needs of each student.
  • Build positive relationships with students, communicating effectively and responding to their needs.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging students to engage and participate.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, identifying areas for improvement and suggesting strategies for support.
Requirements:
