Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Optical Assistant to join our team. As the first point of contact for patients, you will be responsible for providing a warm and welcoming experience, ensuring that every customer feels valued and supported.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet patients, providing a friendly and professional welcome
  • Booking appointments and managing the patient schedule
  • Pre-screening patients, including taking medical histories and vision tests
  • Assisting with contact lens teaching and fitting
  • Handling payments and managing optical admin tasks
  • Working closely with the team to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in an Opticians or a similar customer-facing role
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on building strong relationships with patients
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Professional and friendly demeanor, with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care
  • Ability to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues to achieve our goals
