Job Title: National Sales Manager A&D

Our client, a leading brand in the interior products industry, is seeking an experienced National Sales Manager A&D to lead their sales team in the Midlands and North regions.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of 8 A&D Specification Sales Managers, providing coaching and mentoring to ensure they meet individual and team sales targets. The role involves developing and implementing effective sales strategies, overseeing multiple commercial projects, and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers within the A&D community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of A&D Specification Sales Managers to achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive team performance and achieve business objectives.
  • Oversee multiple commercial projects, ensuring the team tracks and wins specifications with architects, interior designers, and design practices.
  • Nurture relationships with key decision-makers within the A&D community, including architects, project managers, and interior designers.
  • Provide ongoing training and guidance on best practices for specification sales, project management, and client engagement.

Requirements:
  • Sales people management experience within the A&D sector is essential.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing a team of sales professionals, ideally within the A&D or specification sales industry.
  • Strong understanding of the A&D market, including experience with specifying premium interior products for commercial projects.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive team performance and achieve business objectives.
  • Experience overseeing multiple commercial projects, ensuring the team tracks and wins specifications with architects, interior designers, and design practices.
