The successful candidate will have a strong background in winding techniques, insulation systems, and testing procedures, with a proven track record of working with high and medium voltage motors and generators.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct rewinding and repair of armatures, stators, and rotors for high and medium voltage motors and generators.
- Perform coil winding, assembly, and insulation of motor components.
- Diagnose faults and carry out efficient repairs to ensure motors and generators are operational to the highest standards.
- Test and quality assure motors after rewinding to ensure optimal performance.
- Work to health and safety standards, ensuring all tasks are completed safely.
- Proven experience as an Armature Winder, specifically with high and medium voltage motors and generators.
- Strong knowledge of winding techniques, insulation systems, and testing procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- High level of attention to detail and precision in all work.
- Good understanding of health and safety protocols.
