Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Engineer to lead the deployment of Microsoft Endpoint Manager solutions for our client in Oldham. As a key member of the Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance in the design, implementation, and management of Microsoft technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the deployment of approximately 3000 end-user devices, including pre-deployment provisioning, application assessment and deployment, and staff collections.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance in the deployment and management of Microsoft Endpoint Manager solutions, including Autopilot, Intune, SCCM, Autopatch, Azure Monitor, and related components.
  • Collaborate with the Infrastructure team to design, implement, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot infrastructure assets.
  • Assist in embedding ITIL incident management and service-related processes, providing best practice service management of the Field Service Team through second-line support.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles to support the team.

Requirements:

  • Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist
  • High technical knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Manager components, with a focus on Autopilot, Intune, SCCM, and related technologies.
  • Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting end-user devices and related technologies.
  • Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting network devices, protocols, and unified communication platforms.
  • Able to provide effective incident and problem-resolution.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple simultaneous incidents and requests.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Ability to influence, interact, and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to prioritize, work well under pressure, and organize work with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently as part of a highly technical team.
