Job Description:Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs).
  • Diagnose faults using advanced diagnostic equipment and carry out inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Collaborate with a team of skilled mechanics in a supportive environment and maintain accurate records of work completed for quality assurance.
  • As a HGV Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of vehicles and waste management handling equipment to meet health and safety legislation and DVSA requirements.
  • Carry out scheduled preventative service and maintenance inspections to meet our clients operators licence commitments.
Requirements:
  • Fully skilled having achieved a full level 3 HGV / PSV apprentice qualification/City and Guilds Qualification/NVQ Qualification.
  • Technician level.
  • Must have a minimum of a car/van driving licence.
  • HGV licence desirable.
  • IRTEC Qualification desirable.
