**Role Overview**
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a fantastic Primary School in East Riding of Yorkshire. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher and pupils with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher with pupil behaviour and learning, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist in preparing lesson plans and implementing educational programs for pupils with SEN.
- Work collaboratively with the SEN team to develop and implement individualized education plans.
- Provide one-on-one support to pupils with SEN, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to support pupils with SEN, including behavior management and communication techniques.
Requirements
- Minimum 2.1 degree from a Top 20 UK University.
- Prior experience working with children with SEN.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, teachers, and parents.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the students.
