Supplier Quality Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for collaborating with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to establish and maintain robust quality processes for key materials used in our customer's products.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a strategy for meeting the program's quality requirements.
  • Ensure customer requirements are met through establishing robust internal processes and providing engineering feedback where required.
  • Manage and continuously improve an agile quality management system and team.
  • Provide guidance to the inspection team and ensure quality best practices are being followed.
  • Audit suppliers for approval or performance assessment of new and existing suppliers.
  • Develop strategies to ensure visual carbon composites are in line with customer requirements while maintaining a right-first-time mentality.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a Supplier Quality Engineer capacity.
  • Ability to travel independently to visit UK-based customers twice a week.
  • A background working in the automotive, motorsport, and/or aerospace industries.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawing requirements (GD&T).
Desirable:
  • Experience working with composite materials.
  • Background working in a low-volume/R&D, high-value product environment - especially high-performance vehicles.
  • Discounts on leisure facilities, gyms, retail locations, etc.
  • Company events (Goodwood Festival of Speed, for example).
  • Free EV charging facilities onsite.
