Cooplands Team Leader Job Description

Role: As a Cooplands Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth in our bakery.

Location: Our bakery is located in Thornaby, TS17 5LL, and we are looking for a dedicated Team Leader who can work flexible shifts between 6.00am and 18.00pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the bakery when the Manager is not present, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.
  • Lead and engage the team to promote sales, increase profitability, and maintain high standards of store cleanliness and food preparation.
  • Work closely with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives and develop the team.
  • Provide excellent customer service, resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Contribute to the development of the team, identifying training needs and opportunities for growth.

Requirements:

  • Previous team leader or retail management experience is desirable, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Able to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
