Logistics People, a leading logistics company, is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers to join our team on an ad-hoc temporary basis at our Teesport depot.

About the Role:

  • 6 months of UK HGV Class 1 driving experience required
  • Valid HGV 1/C+E Licence
  • No more than 6 points, no DD/DR Code convictions
  • Current valid DCPC & Tacho cards
  • Ability to understand and comply with Driver's hours and WTD legislation
  • Able to perform vehicle checks and report defects correctly
  • Compliance with on-site health and safety requirements
  • Excellent communication skills

Working Conditions:

  • Ad-hoc temporary shifts available
  • Competitive pay rates:
  1. Monday - Friday days: £14.00 P/hr Including Holiday Pay
  2. Monday - Friday nights: £14.56 P/hr Including Holiday Pay
  3. Saturday - Sunday days: £17.37 P/hr Including Holiday Pay
  4. Saturday - Sunday nights: £17.93 P/hr Including Holiday Pay
