Position Overview

We are seeking a Campus Support Officer to join our enthusiastic and committed team at our client's site in Gloucestershire. This role is pivotal in promoting safety and security across the premises and responding effectively to alarm activations or incidents.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct visible foot and mobile patrols of the buildings and grounds to provide reassurance to staff and visitors while deterring criminal activity and anti-social behavior.
2. Manage the unlocking and locking of buildings and the setting/unsetting of alarms.
3. Offer advice, information, guidance, or support to visitors, staff, and the public.
4. Respond to incidents and provide accurate information in accordance with established procedures, ensuring security incidents are handled safely and appropriately.
5. Investigate any alarm activations on site, determining the cause and resetting systems as necessary.

Candidate Requirements:
Applicants must possess the right to work in the UK and hold a DS or Guarding Badge. A solid understanding of the security industry and its associated services is essential. We value customer care skills and seek individuals who can be trained effectively, with the requirement of obtaining an SIA license.
