Accountant (Home Based)

InstaGroup is a leading provider of energy efficiency and renewables solutions, committed to delivering innovative and sustainable products and services. We are seeking a highly skilled Divisional Accountant to join our Energy Services Division, responsible for maintaining the financial integrity and accuracy of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage all data imported into the Group's financial system NAV (Microsoft Dynamics NAV), ensuring accuracy and integrity with the Energy Services Division and liaising with the Data Analyst as required.
- Regularly reconcile all customer accounts across revenue streams, resolving any discrepancies promptly.
- Raise sales invoices for Energy Services.
- Coordinate supplier accounts, maintaining meticulous records and production of self-billing invoices.
- Perform weekly payment run, weekly receipts / payments cashflow forecasting and analysis of data for cash flow reporting within the Energy Services Division against forecast and Budget.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, working closely with the Group Management Accountant.
- Prepare profit and loss statements tailored to the Energy Services Division to assess financial performance against Budgets and Forecasts, and support decision-making ready for review and reporting to the central finance team.
- Liaise with the Finance Manager, to oversee overhead allocations for Energy Services.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives aimed at enhancing financial performance and operational efficiency across the organisation.
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and insights to senior management, highlighting key trends and recommendations for informed decision-making.
- Provide financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting support to inform strategic planning initiatives and optimise resource allocation.
- Serve as a liaison between finance and business units, ensuring alignment of financial strategies with overall business objectives and priorities.
- Competitive salary up to £45,000 per annum
