Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Services Contracts Manager to join our team at Verelogic. As a key member of our design and build contractor team, you will be responsible for managing commercial Mechanical Services projects with a minimum value of £1.5m.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee Project Management of Mechanical Services contracts from estimate handover to final account settlement.
  • Procure plant materials and subcontractor packages, ensuring best value.
  • Manage project budgets, including forecasting and monitoring spend via purchasing software and Excel.
  • Analyse labour resource needs, manage site visits, and monitor project progress to ensure quality standards and timelines are met.
  • Deliver projects according to contracted targets.
  • Prepare monthly payment applications and cost variations.
  • Prepare Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and monitor Health & Safety protocols.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a background in Mechanical Engineering, ideally with experience in installation projects across Commercial, Industrial, and Public Sector buildings. You should have strong technical and commercial acumen, with excellent communication and project management skills.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + car allowance (negotiable) and 25 days per annum holiday entitlement. You will also have the opportunity to work with a well-established design and build contractor, specialising in delivering comprehensive design, installation, and management services.
