Private Client Solicitor Role:
As a key member of the Wealth Preservation team, you will engage in a variety of private client matters, providing expert legal guidance and support.


Our client, a reputable independent law firm, is looking for a dedicated Private Client Solicitor with NQ-2PQE experience. This role is centered around making a meaningful impact on clients and the community through effective legal services.


Core Responsibilities:
In this position, you will:

  • Assist in taking will instructions, collaborating with senior colleagues for complex cases.
  • Prepare Lasting Powers of Attorney and facilitate client meetings for execution.
  • Handle initial inquiries regarding wills and work towards converting these into actionable instructions.
  • Support the drafting of intricate wills and related trust documentation alongside partners and associates.
  • Participate in the review of the firm's Will Bank as needed.


Key Duties:
As part of the wider private client team, your role will include:

  • Providing exceptional support to clients requiring wealth preservation assistance.
  • Ensuring efficient administration, billing, and cost recovery, while meeting agreed targets.
  • Conducting regular reviews of debts and work in progress, emphasizing the importance of accurate time recording.
  • Contributing to the implementation of business plans within the private client sector.
  • Staying updated on legal developments as part of your professional growth.
  • Engaging in events to enhance the firm's visibility and community involvement.

  • The capacity to remain composed under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • A conscientious, approachable demeanor with enthusiasm for the role.
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • A willingness to pursue or progress towards the STEP qualification.
