Job Description

Job Role: We are seeking a skilled Housing Disrepair Solicitor to join our team at Simpson Judge Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of housing disrepair cases, utilizing previous experience in handling similar matters.
  • Maintain accurate client records and contact information through our Case Management systems.
  • Provide exceptional client service, handling client matters and requests, and keeping clients informed throughout the process.
  • Liaise with experts and counsel as necessary, ensuring seamless case progression.
  • Collaborate with disrepair surveyors, associations, and housing providers to resolve cases efficiently.
  • Contribute to the business development and growth of the department, identifying opportunities for expansion.
  • Exhibit excellent client service skills, refined through experience in a similar environment.
  • Demonstrate an empathetic nature and a duty of care towards clients, particularly those who may be vulnerable or distressed.
  • Utilize excellent time management, prompt, and clear communication skills, both internally and externally.
